The terracotta army is a must see in Xi'an. Often referred to as the eight world wonder by locals and the French president, Jacques Chirac. The Terracotta army is indeed an impressive sight with 7000 pottery figures with real weapons and each one of them has an authentic facial expression. If you want to buy souvenirs of the army wait till you exited the area, the souvenirs will be much cheaper there.
