This is the scenery where the Chinese Romeo and Juliette story took place. The emperor fell so in love with one of his concubines that he only had eyes for her and neglected his emperal duties. According to some stories this marked the decline of the Tang dynasty. The concubine was sentenced to hang herself and the emperor never forgave himself. You can watch the baths the emperor used to bath in. Although the name implies you should bring your bathing suit, there are no facilities to bath here.
