27 Years old, Living and working in Shanghai, American,Living in Shanghai for 2 years.I have been studying at Fudan University in Shanghai for some time and since then my Mandarin has approved a lot. XS2China software is not only good tool for short term visitors and people new in China, but also a great learning tool. The audio function makes it possible to learn “fixed” phrases so you can work on your Chinese pronunciation. Also If I forget the exact address of a restaurant, it’s very easy to look up the contact details.

Opened by a famous restaurateur, extravagant décor at 3 on the Bund. Billed as top-notch, but cuisine is not as haut as it should be. Still, it’s glamorous.

Jean Georges Vongerichten, is one of the world's most renowned chefs and touted culinary innovator and brought his contemporary haute cuisine to China. For his first signature outside New york Shanghai was chosen.

The restaurant is situated on the fourth floor of Three on the Bund. Designed by celebrated architect Michael Graves, the restaurant's style is inspired by the grandeur of old Shanghai and the romantic French influence of this international seaport.

The bar and lounge space revolves around a promenade from which both the stunning vista of the Bund and the elegant dining space are in full view.

The open kitchen, one of Vongerichten's signature elements, is just as spectacular and rich as the other spaces, while the wine cellar, which doubles as a unique private dining room for around 30, has the architectural articulation and vaulted ceilings of the wine caves of Bordeaux. The wine list covers over 250 labels ranging from RMB225 upwards.
