The Nanyue Kingdom Palace Museum showcases the artifacts of the Nanyue Kingdom Palace and Imperial Garden that date back 2,000 years. Using video and guide systems, the museum helps visitors gain an understanding of the archeological endeavors, observe excavated artifacts, and relive the history on the site of archeological excavation. Lying beneath the remains of the Nanyue Kingdom Palace is the ruins of a Qin-dynasty shipyard, while standing on top are historic relics dating back to various dynasties, ranging from the Eastern Han Dynasty to the Republic of China period, bearing eloquent testimony to Guangzhou's outward expansion with this site as the center.
